170 Cottage Street is a mixed-use development in Chelsea, Massachusetts, bringing new affordable housing and commercial space to help strengthen the neighborhood. Developed by The Neighborhood Developers (TND), the project is located one block from the Eastern Avenue Silver Line MBTA station, offering convenient access to Boston’s South Station and the Seaport District.

The development will include family-sized apartments, with two homes designed for individuals with disabilities and 16 homes prioritized for families who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

170 Cottage also prioritizes sustainability and achieved Passive House Design Certification in 2023, meeting rigorous energy-efficiency standards to support a healthier, more comfortable living environment.

Construction began in December 2023 and is expected to be completed by mid-February 2026. Bridgeline Exteriors is proud to be building the full building envelope for this impactful project.
